Tello has an excellent career opportunity for a Junior Staff Accountant in our Sibiu office. We are expanding our Accounting services group in our Sibiu Office. We are looking for a talented finance enthusiast ready to be part of our global accounting group.
This position is ONLY available at our Sibiu location. Please do not apply if you are not able to relocate to Sibiu.
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics/Business;
- +1 year of experience in Accounting and Finance;
- Proficiency in English;
- Strong Computer Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines in a demanding and exciting environment;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- High degree of perseverance, focus and commitment;
- Excellent analytical skills and great attention to details.
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries;
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations;
- Review and maintain invoices and supporting documentation in the electronic accounting system;
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy;
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and financial documentation;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and statistical analyses;
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, as required;
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting-related issues;
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
